ACID LAB
Taipei Muzha 2018
Made from scratch and with local reused materials, Acid Lab's garden brings joy and serenity for those who live nearby. The garden also supports Acid Lab’s cafe by growing herbs to make their delicious food and beverages.
The area was designed incorporate three planting zones., each with a different depth in order to create visual elevation and offer the possibility to grow a wider panel of plants such as shrubs and other big plants.
As the garden was made on concrete, we opted to layer nitrogen, carbon with the soil found near Acid Lab. This has created a healthy, living soil where plants thrive incredibly well.
The choice of perennial varieties have made this garden very resilient. The rain water cistern installed with a minimum labor right next to the garden has also made maintenance fast and cheap.
